Intervention of the Wheel

EVOLUTION OF TECHNOLOGY:
TRANSPORTATION

With the 20th century there have been many invention and intervention that has contributed to the evolution of our developing society that we have learned to adapt with. In my opinion, the two main intervention of technology are communication as well as transportation. The invention of communication was the development of the alphabet during the 3500 to 2900 BC where the Sumerians developed the cuneiform writing which are pictographs of accounts written on clay tablets; the beginning of many future intervention of communication such as cellphones, typewriters, computers, newspapers, telephone etc.
My group and I decided to focus our topic on transportation, where we came across the four main invention of transportation: the wheel, steam engine, cars and airplanes.
I believe that the intervention of technology of transportation has shaped the global village we have today. In my opinion, the steam engine's importance has helped our society to travel across the continent, people using boats/ships find the steam engine a luxury as well as a needed resort to shipping items from country to country, while the Ford's Model T has an effect on the intervention of many other cars such as jeeps, trucks, limos etc.

As a group Devon, Susan and myself decided to meet up to discuss the options of ideas that we could choose from; as a group it was difficult to decide which evolution of technology we could focus on. It came down to two option; the evolution of the camera or the evolution of transportation
. As a result, we decided to choose the evolution of transportation where Devon suggest to design the image of the four main creation of transportation while Susan and myself were in charge of the research.
